Hey everyone!!!
Welp...we been in our new rental for a little over a month now. The house is wonderful and all the kids finally get their own rooms. I really like the house a lot. The only bad thing is that the neighborhood is not the best. First night here our car was broken in to and my money and social security cards among other things were stolen. It was terrible and it really traumatized me. We have security cameras all over now. We had them then but didnt get a chance to set them up. We wasn't even moved in all the way yet before that happened. We was here for like 4 hours total before getting robbed. This whole city is dangerous and I can't wait to move when he buy our forever home. In about a year and a half to 2 years and we will be back in the country. I really hate living in the city. But just because we living in the city didn't stop us from getting chickens again. We got them when they were like a day old and they are so big now. I love them so much. They should start laying eggs in september or so.
Life has been pretty hectic with these kids and dealing with the breakin and trying to re-establish life in a whole new city. I'm making it though. In other news. I'm entering the last year of my bachelor's degree. I already have an associates degree and now I will have a bachelors. I'm not gonna just stop there though. When the youngest babies go to preschool I want to get a second degree bachelors in nursing. I want to get my BSN and then I can work 3 days a week and be done. I'm done being a stay at home mom. It's really really HARD work. I am ready to get back into the working world. This is so exciting just thinking about it. But to be honest had I stuck to becoming a nurse when I first went to college right out of high school I could be a nurse practitioner by now. But I guess I needed those life experience so I know. Back then I was a CNA and the thought of body fluids and stuff freaked me out but now that I have 3 kids and chickens. I feel like I can handle anything lol.
My husband makes really good money which is why I can be a stay at home mom but imagine if I had a job too....we would be freakin wealthy lol. Our ultimate goal though is to be able to live off our own land. Like raise cattle and pigs. That would be a dream come true. I can't wait to get our property so we can grow and raise everything our hearts desire.
In other weight related news. I am still doing well. But I have no more pounds lost. I'm working on it. I have like 5 months before our cruise and I want to be a certain weight by then so wish me luck yall.
