So Far So Good....BUSY BUSY!!!!

It's been a LONG while since I have wrote an entry. I have graduated nursing school and have been a full blown nurse for almost 9 month now. I LOVE LOVE being a nurse. It is my calling. My first nursing job was a postpartum nurse. It's my calling but due to discrimination I no longer work there. However, I have decided to become self employed and I am  making like WAY more money than I thought I could ever make so early in the game. I feel so free being self employed as a nurse too because I have no real boss and I decide when I want to work and where I want to work. There is no monetary limit I can hit. Also, me and my husband have been home owners for almost 3 years now. We have loved homeownership. We still have not gotten our livingroom professionally painted but we have had a kitchen remodel and a master bathroom remodel. I really love our home. It's my happy place and I love not having people over though lol. My dojo is my dojo and I don't like invaders. We love our home even with all the issues we have had being homeowners. Like water damage, a garage fire, frozen pipes at the well house, a leaking water heater that we replaced, replacing the water softener, starting a remodel on the hallway main bathroom due to a crack in the tub. Even with all that our home is our home and we love it. I also love that all the improvements we make is only bringing value to own home and property. We also purchased a piece of land that used to be a part of our property back in the day but got sold off before we bought it. It's back with our property now.

Next update:

Me and my husband have decided to start our own trucking business. We have done all the paperwork and right now we are working on getting a truck. This year is the year of self employment. I love being my own boss and now my husband gets to do it too. I also start my first contract nursing position next monday. Wish me luck yall.

Update on the KIDS!!!

I wish I could type emojis on here because I need the side eye one. My oldest is about to be 14 years old tomorrow and she is such a nightmare. I just can't with her. The smart ass mouth, the attitude, the disrespect. I'm like....DAMN I have never met anyone so careless, disrespectful, and self-centered in my life. I wasn't even THAT bad...hell you can ask my mother. My mother is a whole other topic I don't want to get into but lets just say my oldest can do no wrong and my mom literally undermines my parenting in front of my daughter all the time and it's getting old. That's all I'm going to say about that.

Younger Kids

My daughter....the 5 year old started Kindergarten. and I'm so proud of her. My 4 year old son is still in preschool half-day. They both are still struggling with speech. My daughter's speech is a little worse and academically she isn't picking up as fast as my son but she has improved a lot. They are two different kids and develop at their own pace and I love them to death and we are helping them as much as possible.

ANIMALS!!!!

So we still have a horse named Janey. A goat named Gunner. We still have chickens, and now we have 4 dogs who I love so much but are super ASSWHOLES!!! The life as animal owners is hard. Our dogs are big dogs and go through a 50 pound bag of dog food a week. We have to constantly carpet clean and mop and vacuum because of the dog hair and mud they track in the house all the time. You know...gotta love that country life lol. We also have experienced having our own veggie garden, raised and butchered our own turkeys, raised and had someone butcher our own pigs, picked pears from our pear trees in our orchard which I made pear wine, butter, and jam from. It has been an amazing experience and we are so excited that spring is approaching and we can do this all over again.

Conclusion:

I love my husband, my kids, our animals, our home, my profession as a Registered Nurse, and our hobby farm life. Our lives are not perfect and we have many problems but my heart is FULL!!! We are so blessed.
