The start of Something NEW
Today is October 4th, 2014. I'm starting a totally new blog because my life has changed dramatically over the past year.
My name is Georgette. I used to be a single mom a year ago. I always knew my mate was out there just waiting to find me and by the grace of god...he finally found me. From the moment we met we have been connected at the hip. Even to this day I still can't explain why we moved so fast in our relationship. From day one we were talking about marriage and here we are at almost day 365 and we are still talking about marriage. With every single day that goes by I fall more and more in love with this man. The man who stole my heart name is Clinton. My soulmate, the perfect father to my daughter, my everything. After falling in love with this man I can truly for the first time say that I am in actual love. All the loves I thought I felt before was nothing compared to the mutual love between me and this man. He loves me in a way I never knew I ever wanted to be loved. This is true love. He is my first love. Now and will always be.
I dream of growing old with this man. I can see us on our front porch when we are both 75 years old drinking some cold lemonade trying not to get the lemon seeds stuck in our dentures while we watch our grandchildren play. I have never had those thoughts about anyone before in my life. We have been married at heart since birth. God put him on this earth just for me and I for him. We went through past bad relationships looking for each other and here we are finally together and only death is truly the only thing that's gonna make us part.
He is the most caring and loving individual I have ever come across. He went from being a 23 year old man who didn't have a care in a world to being a husband and a father all in a short time frame. Even though our daughter isn't his biologically he treats her as if she were his own. He went to parent teacher conferences. Helped her with her homework. Cooked her dinner. Buys her school clothes. He wants nothing but the best for her just as I do. One day soon he will legally be her father and we both can't wait until that day comes. From day one he became the father she never had and I couldn't ask for more. He is a wonderful man. The beginning of our life together starts now. We are the Boyce family.
