True happiness or contentment?

No one can be in a permanent state of true happiness. It's not possible. The world that we live in doesn't allow for it. This is Satan's world and permanent happiness is something that he won't allow and can't exist as long as he does. Now you can get bursts of happiness here and there but that's it....otherwise your just going to have to find your level of contentment. Find exactly what will make you SATISFIED. Meaning finding out what exactly you can live with and what you can't. For example, majority of everyone hates their jobs or wish they had better but when they find that right job it won't check off all the boxes but it will be something they feel that they can live with. I myself have not yet found that job that I can live with doing for the rest of my life and as a result...I don't have one. I'm lucky enough to have a husband that has found a career that he's content with so I can find what satisfies me.

Also, the one thing that I have learned as I grew up is that no one has your best interest in mind besides yourself so don't expect the world to treat you fair because the world is not fair. Those who don't speak up for themselves and demand what they feel they should have will forever live in silence and unfairness. And even if you do speak up there is still a good chance things won't go your way.

Everyone looks out for numeral uno. People will step over anyone to get ahead. That is FACT! Living in this world that we live in we have to expect the worse and prepare for the worst or this world will chew you up and spit you out!
