Keto update, kids, life....etc.

First I would like to say that I have been on my keto woe for 5 weeks now. So far I have lost 19 pounds. The pace is definitely slow and steady. Some weeks I didnt lose any. I just slow and steady weightloss is the best way to go. YOU have a better chance of it coming off and staying off.

In other related news....my husband and I decided to join the YMCA. It's so awesome. I dont know why we didnt join it sooner. I cant wait to take the kids swimming and the fitness area is just what I need to jump start this weightloss. It's weird cause at first i didnt want to workout but now I have this fire burning in me and I want to get as fit as possible. Also....my husband and I just booked our first cruise for December and that is motivation as well. I wanna lose another 70 pounds by then. So now that your all caught up with my keto journey....there is some other not so great news.

My youngest daughter got the flu. It is spreading like wildfire. Im sure my son will have it next. He already spiking a fever. Look my daughter to the ER last night because she spiked a 102 fever. They prescribed her Tamiflu and prescribed some for my son too as a preventative measure.

In other kid related news. My oldest daughter is really pressing my nerves. She is entering that pre-teen age and going through puberty already and she is trying to test me. She is soooo lazy and dont want to do anything. I can't wait til this phase is over.
