Day 6

Well today I feel a lot better mood wise. I woke up and got a lot of stuff done. Now that I think of it....I feel the worse when I'm not moving around. I feel really good when I'm active. It's just getting the energy to get up and going is the problem. Today we are taking the kids to a petting zoo so I'm sure I will get a little physical activity there. I am killing this new way of eating. It's not hard at all. I guess that's because I don't really care what I eat. I just eat because I'm hungry and I was gaining weight because I never would get healthy things to eat, but now I traded all the bad stuff for fresh healthy things and I am starting to see progress....on the scale anyway. I have lost 9 pounds so far in 6 days. I'm so proud of me. I need to improve on my water intake though. I hardly drink anything. Water is so gross though and water flavoring is gross too. I have been drinking flavored carbonated water from walmart. But even drinking that I only drink maybe a whole bottle a day.

I do get temptation when we go through the drive through and my husband gets stuff for him and our daughter. The impulse to get something is so strong. But as long I'm at home I don't have a problem but when we go out it's a different story. Oh and I really hate when my husband calls and ask me if I there is anything I want him to bring me on his way home. The temptation is so hard to resist when he says that so I scream "NO!!!" and hang up the phone lol.

Ok so....I wasn't able to resist the temptation so I came up with a plan. I decided to have one day a week I can not be so strict with my eating habits. I can live with that. Like a reward. I'm not going to go overboard though. However, today I had half a oatmeal raisin cookie, a bunch of kettle corn, and most of a huge burrito from Qdoba. I didn't get a pop or anything like that though. I got zero calorie carbonated water. I guess I didn't do that bad. I could have been eating bad all day long. I'm ready for this next week to come so I can go hard. Also, tomorrow my husband and I are going to do some physical activities. One in which includes climbing up a fire tower. That should be interesting lol.
